In a statement made on March 19th, 2020, Rural King announced that it is suspending all online sales of ammunition in an effort to keep up with the recent high demand.
Rural King stated that they are making the change to ensure that their customers who live near and around their 119 stores will still be able to go into their local Rural King store and find ammunition on their store shelves. While they are suspending ammunition sales online they mentioned that other products will still remain available online and at RKGuns.com

Serving you, our customers is at the core of our values. During this time of uncertainty, we’d like to assure you that we are doing everything in our power to keep the essential products you need available in our stores and online.
We pride ourselves on being a local store that our customers can rely on and being an essential part of the communities around our stores. Therefore, in order to keep the products that our in-store customer need in stock, we are ceasing online sales of ammunition effective immediately until further notice. Other products on RKGuns.com will still be available and ammunition will be available for purchase in our 119 locations.
Rural King values your business and trust and we hope that you will continue to help us in supporting our neighbors across rural America during this time of need and uncertainty.
