What Are The Symbols On Spyderco Knives?

If you are referring to the two symbols that are etched on your Spyderco Para Military knife that are marked in the above photo, the symbols that of Sal Glesser’s and Eric Glesser’s initials. On most knives only one of their initials appear, showing you who designed it. The Para Military Spyderco knife was a joint venture, so it carries both names on that knife. Pretty cool, right?

Spyderco was founded in 1976 by Sal and Gail Glesser. In 1978, they settled in Golden, Colorado which is where they still are today.
